  • You will not be charged for rescheduling due to bad weather. The Beach Society will let the client know when cancellations must occur due to bad weather. Bad weather examples are rain, and unsafe wind conditions.

  • The sunbed and the daybed differ in size and the amenities included with each service. The sunbed is lower to the ground and shorter in length, still providing maximum comfort for everyday beach days. The daybed is taller with extra legroom and comes with additional amenities such as complementary still and sparkling waters and a set of two towels. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion or want a more luxurious beach experience, we recommend choosing a daybed.

  • Cancellations for a full refund must be made at least 5 days (120 hours in advance). Cancellations made 3-5 days before their reservation will receive a credit for their purchase minus a 20% re-scheduling fee. Cancellations made 1-3 days before their reservation will receive a 50% credit.

  • All of our sheets are washed between each new use!

  • Your bed bookings, at minimum, must be scheduled 3-5 days in advance, depending on the season. Weekends are our most popularly request times so please book in advance if you would like to ensure your weekend availability.

  • You may cancel your booking 5 days before the reservation date for a full refund or to reschedule. If you cancel your booking 3 to 5 days before the reservation date, you will receive a credit to use in the future, minus a 20% rescheduling fee. If you cancel your booking 1 to 3 days before the start time, you will be charged a 50% fee and the remainder will be available as a future use credit.

  • The Beach Society currently has two locations available: Santa Monica and Will Rogers Beach. Once you place your booking, you will receive an address leading you to your designated beach. If you need more specifications or photo directions please email bookings@thebeachsociety.co after you’ve made your reservation.

  • You a responsible for your items during the time slot it is reserved by you. If you’d like to leave early, please confirm with your host at the beginning of the reservation or one hour before you plan to leave your daybed(s).

  • Absolutely!

  • Our company is dog-friendly, but it's important to note that some California beaches have rules against it. If you do decide to bring your furry friend, please make sure they respect the property as we do charge clients for any permanent damages to our items. Ultimately, the decision is up to you.

  • The Beach Society offers both still and sparkling water options. Please note that we do not provide any alcoholic beverages, and according to California beach rules, alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are not allowed on the beach. If you'd like to have beachside beverage deliveries, you can contact www.juicefly.com (minimum 3 hours notice required). The Beach Society is not responsible for monitoring the use of alcoholic beverages on the beach.

  • No, we do not provide food. You may use any food delivery services to your beachside reservation or contact www.theseedca.com to schedule a food board delivery.

  • Absolutely not! The Beach Society uses real outdoor beds for true comfort and luxury on our sandy beaches.

  • Your future use credit may be used up to 1 year after your initial reservation date.
